Hi Nate, I found you on Sketchfab when trying to find a 3d Rendering of Brighty! I would like to help get funding to restore or remake Brighty. I have located 2 of the owners of the mini Brighty's Jepsen created at the same time. I know you started a fund on gofundme, is that to help with the Brighty as well? If not would you be interested in working with me to get a Brighty fund started? I have plans for a podcast, blogs, news outlets, etc.

I've been a multi-day adventure hiking guide in the canyon since 2015, I am more than willing to put in the work to help restore the north rim. It is part of me and I'm devastated at the losses.. maybe this could be a way to help. Thank you for capturing the rendering, for setting up the GoFundme, and getting the info out there to help rebuild.

I first "met" Brighty during the mid 1950s when, as a junior high school student, I read Marguerite Henry's "Brighty of the Grand Canyon" and was captivated by his spirit which--despite the decades which have passed and the recent damage by wildfire to his North Rim habitat--lives on in the hearts of many. I am 82 now, and know his spirit and story live on in the hearts of many who love him as I have for the past 70 years.
